EvidenceX is a simple, straightforward app, but very efficient when you need to quickly showcase a piece of evidence during a round.
Visit evidencex.prepd.in on any browser to access the app. From the starting page, you'll have two options: to create a Round (by typing a name for the tournament and the round) or join an existing one (using a Round Key provided by your debate partner, the judge or another participant who created the Round):
The Round Key will be displayed on the upper right corner, next to your profile picture.
Once you are in a Round, you will be able to upload your files (PDF, DOC or TXT which are smaller than 10MB) and make them available to the other participants in the Round.
You will also be able to see other users who are joining and identify them (for now) through a 'secret' identity which if assigned to them when they enter the Round. You can see your own identity by clicking on the profile image in the upper right corner.
You can preview or download the files which are available in the Round. To remove any of the files you uploaded, click on the trash-can icon which appears in the upper right cornet of the file when you hover your cursor over it.
If you want to download all the files available in the Round, click the "Download All" button from the upper right corner. To download just one user's files, click on the "Download [UserName]'s files" button next to their files.
To the upper left side of the screen, you'll see the Round name and, beneath it, for how much longer the Round will be open for new people to join. If the time expires, but you have joined the Round, you can leave it and return; however, no new users can join.
